Chris Cooper joins the Perry's Estate Jewelry family as an established and successful Show Host in the home shopping industry. Crediting his mom Kay, for his appreciation of fine quality and craftsmanship, as well as "the gift of gab", and his dad Cary, for seeking value in everything, he says that being a part of the Perry's Estate Jewelry team, was the perfect fit. He loves the fast pace of TV and the excitement of Estate Jewelry. "It is amazing to see the quality of these pieces and discover the wonderful history behind them."

Before coming to TV, he worked as on-air radio personality, stared in commercials, acted in many stage productions, drove 18 wheel tractor trailers (the most fun he's ever had behind the wheel), and was the owner of a custom tile installation company for twelve years. He has received his certification from the Gemological Institute of America as an Accredited Jewelry Professional.

Chris calls himself a displaced Cajun since he is originally from Louisiana. He loves the outdoors, and enjoys water skiing, mountain biking, hiking (especially to waterfalls), riding his Harley Davidson Street Bob on "The Dragon", and to say he is a NASCAR fan would be an understatement.
