Nicole's life-long passion for gemstones and jewelry led her to leave an established career in the business world, and pursue her Graduate Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America, over ten years ago. "I was ready for a change, and I followed my heart," she says. "I can't remember a moment in my life when i wasn't fascinated by jewelry." Now, Nicole is not only GIA graduate gemologist, but also an amateur lapidary and established on-air personality.

Nicole joined the Perry's family in July 2009. Her favorite part about working at Perry's is looking over all the new pieces that arrive from Charlotte every week, and of course shopping for herself! "I especially like the Art Deco and the Victorian pieces," she says. "It's so interesting to imagine who may have owned those pieces in the past, and to what events they may have been worn. Since Perry's jewelry pieces are all one-of-a-kind, I know that when i purchase a piece for myself or as a gift, no one else will have one like it."

Nicole graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, and she is an avid Vols fan. In her spare time, she attends UT sporting events, goes hiking in the Smoky Mountains, and creates custom jewelry pieces. Nicole is an avid animal lover, and shares her home with her Cocker Spaniel, Spudnut, and her four cats, Caesar, Samson, Zeus, and Tiffany.
